Preposition of Place

Preposition  of  Place  คือคำบุพบทบอกตำแหน่ง สถานที่ ทิศทางของคำนามและ
คำสรรพนาม เช่น   at, on, in, behind, between, opposite เป็นต้น

เนื้อหา ช่วงชั้นที่  2

at     (ที่)  ใช้บอกตำแหน่งสถานที่ที่ชี้เฉพาะเช่น
                 We  study  English  at   school.
                 He  watches  TV  at   home.

On     (บน) ใช้บอกตำแหน่งที่อยู่  ข้างบน สิ่งใด สิ่งหนึ่ง เช่น
                 A  dog  is  on  the  table.
                On   ใช้กับวัน  วันที่  วันสำคัญ เช่น
                On Sunday, on June, on Songkran  Day

In    (ใน)  ใช้บอกตำแหน่งว่าอยู่ภายใน สิ่งใด  สิ่งหนึ่งหรือสถานที่ใดที่หนึ่ง เช่น
             
                  The  cat  is  in  the  basket. 
      
                  The  birds  are  in  the  sky.
                  ใช้วางไว้หน้าเดือนและฤดูกาล  เช่น
                  It   is  cold  in  winter.
                  My  mother’s  birthday  is  in  June.

                  ใช้กับทิศทาง เช่น

                    in  the  north   ทางทิศเหนือ
                    in  the  south  ทางทิศใต้
                    in  the  east    ทางทิศตะวันออก
                    in  the  west    ทางทิศตะวันตก

Under  (ใต้)  ใช้บอกตำแหน่งว่าอยู่ข้างใต้ เช่น

              The   dog  is  under  the  table.

behind  (ข้างหลัง)  ใช้บอกตำแหน่งอยู่ข้างหลัง เช่น
                The  hospital  behind  the  market.

between  (ระหว่าง)  ใช้บอกตำแหน่งว่าอยู่ระหว่างกลาง เช่น
                The   monkey  is  between  two  boxes. 

opposite:  (คำตรงข้าม) ใช้บอกว่าอยู่ตรงข้ามกัน

                The  car  is  opposite  the  school.
