Nick : I’m going to the cinema tonight – with a friend.
Jenny : Oh ? Who have you invited ? Or rather, who has invited you ?
Nick : Jane has invited me. Do you want to come too ?
Jenny : What film are you going to see ? And which cinema is it on at ?
The Regent or the Odeon ?
Nick : The Odeon. The film’s called ‘ Mystery Man’.
Jenny : I think, I’d rather stay here and watch TV.
Nick : Again ? You’re an addict. Haven’t you got anything better to do ?
Jenny : Why shouldn’t I watch TV if I want to ? What are you looking for ?
Nick : The TV guide. Have you seen it ?
Jenny : No, I haven’t. Anyway, who watches TV most in our house ?
You do ! And what happens if you miss your sports programme ?
You get bad-tempered. You’re the TV addict , not me ! Why don’t
you go out and leave me alone ?
Nick : I don’t want to go out anymore. I want to watch ‘ Football Special’.
Which channel is it on ? I’ve got an idea. Why don’t we all watch
TV ?
