The 2010 FIFA World Cup will be the 19th FIFA World Cup, the premier international football tournament. It is scheduled to take place between 11 June and 11 July 2010 in South Africa. This will be the first time that the tournament has been hosted by an African nation.
I want to present you the official posters, logos and mascots from all World Cup’s so far. It’s interesting to see how their design changes over time.
Showcase includes all 19 posters from 1930-2010, 16 logos (first official logo showed up in 1950 for the World Cup in Brazil, and 12 mascots (the first official mascot was presented in 1966 for the World Cup in England).
