ทุกวันนี้มีศิลปินเกาหลีเกิดขึ้นมากมาย แต่เรน ยังรั้งตำแหน่งศิลปินหนุ่มรูปหล่อหมายเลข 1 ของเอเชีย และเขาจะกลับมาเปิดคอนเสิร์ตเอเชีย ทัวร์ ที่เมืองไทยภายใต้ชื่อ “พีดี โชว์ไทมส์ พรีเซนท์ส : เดอะเบสท์ 2011 เรน เอเชีย ทัวร์ อิน ไทยแลนด์”
เรน เกิดเมื่อวันที่ 25 มิถุนายนปี 2525 สูง 184 เซนติเมตร เป็นดารานักแสดง นักร้องชาวเกาหลีแนวอาร์แอนด์บีและป๊อป โด่งดังจากละครเรื่อง “ฟูลเฮ้าส์” หรือ “สะดุดรัก....ที่พักใจ” เรนมีชื่อจริงว่า จองจีฮุน แต่ใช้ชื่อภาษาอังกฤษว่า “เรน” โดยนำความหมายของชื่อบี ในภาษาเกาหลี ซึ่งหมายถึงฝน มาตั้งชื่อเป็นภาษาอังกฤษ เขาได้แสดงละครทีวีเรื่อง “ฟูลเฮ้าส์” จนเป็นละครที่มีเรตติ้งสูงที่สุดในเกาหลี และดังทั่วทวีปเอเชีย
จากข่าวนี้ เรน เป็นดารายอดนิยมที่นักเรียนให้ความ่ชื่นชอบและชื่นชม คุณครูสามารถนำไปจัดการเรียนรู้ในกลุ่มสาระการเรียนรู้ภาษาต่างประเทศได้ในหัวข้อ Information Identification
